A little about Facebooks' service agreements
Facebook has a service agreement that is lengthy, boring, and full of information that you may or may not care about or even understand, for that matter. But, trust me when I say, that they are not alone. I can say that I have read most of Facebook's agreement and found it to be mostly about protecting your rights as a costumer plus making sure that you know what they can do with all that information that the have at their disposal. It lets you know that most of your information is use to improve your searches and to see how Facebook can better serve you. Wow, it only took me one paragraph to say what they are trying to say. lol!!!

Feed Readers
Well, if I could ever get a feed reader to work properly; then it may be kind of useful. I really enjoy the RSS news feeds simply because you can filter out content at your discretion and choose your categories in which you want your readers to respond to. I even like the fact that feed readers are like a glimpse, if you will, at what is going on in the part of the world you choose to know about, awesome. But, the draw backs are plain and simple. It is difficult to find a RSS feed that works properly or one that works at all. Or, maybe feed readers are not as popular as they once were. Well, that is my opinion anyway.

Insurance.gov
I do not know what to think about all of this Insurance.gov drama but I do know that it is about to drive some people krazy. The way I feel, it is really to late to panic and to soon to give up on it. Maybe, just maybe, given a little time, Obamacare just may be what the doctor order. Remember...I did say maybe.
Delicious vs Bling
Well, here goes nothing. First of all, I just did not get the hang of Delicious search engine. It was sort of weird to set up and really did nothing different than Bling, as far as, search results. Bling was much faster and seems to have a better handle on what users are looking for when they search, on my computer any way. But, I did like the idea about adding links and trying to give users the hole "social network" type of atmosphere. Valiant effort, but Delicious still has a ways to go. So for now, I will just stick with what I know.

Feed Readers Part 2
Most businesses like to use feed readers to keep their customers in the now, if you will, by streaming live feeds about discounts and sales straight to a custumers phone or mobile device. We can even take advantage of feed reader's ability to bring us stock quotes to any of our mobile devices, as they happen. I believe, from my experience with feed readers, that they are very useful and you can find a feed reader that suits you.

Daddy's Little Girl
I have a 16 year old daughter, who is the love of my life. We talk often and even though we do not live in the same house hold, I still remain a very active influence in her life. She says that I am her hero and that I make her day whenever I come around . But, in reality she is my hero and a faithful companion also. Soon, the day will come where all that will be put to a test because, "Daddy's Little Girl" , is growing up and will soon be off to college or at best living her own life;trying to find he own way. Yes, it will sadden me deeply but life must go on. And, at the same time, it will make me so happy to see her fly out of the nest. I only pray that she finds happiness amongst all the sadness and evil that lurks in this world in which we live in.

Three is a Crowd.
What if you are in a relationship and your best buddy is of the opposite sex and you two are constantly hanging out together. But, here is the kicker. That relationship is causing problems between you and your better half. So, what would you do, or do you do anything?

Friend or Parent
In this day and time, most moms and dads are more concerned with being their children's friend instead of their parent. Nevertheless, this kind of relationship with your children causes the parents to live in fear of their children not liking them as a friend. As a result, you start living by the rules your children set for you. In other words, let us stop trying to give our children everything they want; and let us see if we can come together, as parents, to give our children at least some of what they need. By teaching them stuff like, morals, respect, gratitude, selflessness, and not to mention, how to become a functional human being in todays society, and not a statistic.

Good or Bad
Realistically, it really does not matter if your relationship is with who or what, or is either good or bad. Because ultimately, it will and can have a profound impact on your life. All, due to the fact, it is not so much the kind of relationships you are in, as much as, what you are doing to cope with these glitches in your relationship

Blogger vs Wordpress
For me, choosing one of the two actually may depend on what you are trying to do with your Blog and if you have trust issues or not. For instance, if you choose Blogger, which is a free service that Google offers, you get all the works. You get to design your Blog choosing from many templates and backgrounds, set up your Blog to look and feel professional. And, even though you can report to Google any kind plagiarism or wrong doing that is being done to the work that you own, Google still has rights, because they own the storage space, to change, remove, and/or manipulate anything that you upload to their site. Because, in the license agreement the Blogger is there to improve their services, not yours.
On the other hand, when you choose Wordpress, which is a service that you pay for, you are actually renting your own space on a server. Making your Blog a "self hosted Blog". Therefore, everything you write, blog, and upload belongs to you and only you. You are literally guaranteed access to your website...because you own it. Like my grandmother use to say, " You get what you pay for."

About Me
Well, where do I begin? First of all, my name is David Lynell Carr, and I am currently a Senior at James Sprunt Community College. Where I am double majoring in Computer Information Technology-Application/Network Tack. I am a proud dad of three wonderful children and three gorgeous grandkids. I guess by now, that you have concluded, that I am what they call a "Non-Traditional Student". Trust me. it is ok. I have no regrets because I love what I am doing and I can not think of anything else that I would rather be doing. For, I am a "Life Time Learner". I am constantly on the Web searching out my favorite sites like Techworld which gives me the lowdown on the latest gizmos and gadgets, Fox News for all the "what's happening" in the world and in sports, and last, but not least Food Network because I love seeking adventure in kitchen.
